Event Description

Discover the old-fashioned charm of preserving apples and turning them into delicious fried apple pies! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to select, slice, and dry apples using traditional and modern techniques. Then, we’ll take those dried apples and walk step-by-step through the process of rehydrating and turning them into rich, spiced filling for mouthwatering fried apple pies. You’ll leave with a batch of dried apples, a few finished pies, and all the knowledge you need to recreate both at home. Perfect for beginners, homesteaders, or anyone who loves homemade treats!
