2018 Upcoming Classes:

Strawberry plants can be ordered at the Extension Office now through March 15th.  

The cost for 100 plants is $15.  



         March 26th at 10:00 am ~ Area Homemaker Council meeting in Clay County.

         March 27th at 10:00 am

  • Embossed metal pendant or keychain.  Supplies are furnished; limited to 10 people.

          March 27th at 1:00 pm

  • Our leader lesson for April is Toaster Ovens:  Have become New Again and will be taught by Clay County FCS Agent, Lora Lee Howard.  Toaster ovens became popular household appliances in the mid-1950s, and have changed significantly since those early days.  This program introduces today’s toaster ovens and provides insights on their purchase, use and care.  Participants will learn the advantages and challenges of toaster ovens and new recipes to use with the toaster oven. 

              All clubs are encouraged to be represented at this lesson.

             Please call the Extension office to reserve a space in the class if you would like to attend.


         March 27th at 6:00 pm

  • Zipper Quilt class taught by Hazel Jackson during the Nine Patcher’s Quilt Club meeting.


        April 2nd at 5:00 pm

  • Homemaker Council meeting.  It will be helpful for 1–2 officers from each club to attend the meeting.  The agenda will include member recruitment, new clubs, and a summertime event.
